MEET OUR THERAPIST

Chloe is a passionate Speech and Language Therapist who has worked with neurodivergent children in various different capacities. Qualifying with a MSci in Speech and Language Therapy in 2021 from the University of Reading, Chloe has gone on to work in a range of Special Needs Schools and has developed her clinical specialism in supporting neurodivergent individuals.  

Chloe is extremely passionate about the use of Total Communication. She is currently completing her Makaton Tutor Training and is keen to upskill both staff, parents and children in using signing to support communication. Chloe is an advocate of person-centred care, inclusive of both trauma-informed approaches and neurodiversity affirming practises. Chloe is keen to ensure all children have chances to develop their communication within real-life experiences and as such, is supporting with the curriculum development to ensure it is play-based and as experiential as possible.   

Alongside her full-time work in Special Needs Schools, Chloe works privately to support families with early intervention, is the Playleader at Reading Autism Families Together and is ADOS trained.

Chloe is looking forward to working closely with both the families and students at Oak Tree School.
